About Me

I originally started writing Bunykcooks as a way to share with others my lifelong passion for food, cooking, entertaining and wine.

Since it’s inception, Bunkycooks has become a journal of our experiences with food, people and places.   Bunkycooks wants to engage the reader and bring them along for the journey as we share our travel to special destinations, unique farms and businesses (On The Road with Bunkycooks), interview great American chefs and meet the people and personalities behind our food.

Bunkycooks likes to provide approachable recipes for all levels of the home cook.  The focus is on fresh and local foods.  There is a real difference in taste and freshness that we look to enjoy, but there are also dishes that can be prepared with easily found ingredients that are available year round.  I also like to have some fun and make desserts and a few cocktails, now and then!

Laughter makes everything better, so you will find a bit of humor in almost everything we do.   I have been told by family and friends that they can read Bunkycooks to see what is happening at any given moment in our lives.  I hope you will come along for the journey and and share our travels and see what is cooking at Bunkycooks!

I live in the Atlanta area with my husband and precious Tibetan Terrier.  We spend a lot of time in North Carolina and the Appalachian Mountains when we are not On The Road.

I would love to hear from you with any questions or comments (via the Contact form on my site).

All Media and PR inquiries can be sent via the Contact form as well.

Thank you for stopping by Bunkycooks!
